Maximum Beverage Shipping Policy

The following rates and conditions apply to purchases on the Maximum Beverage web site.

Connecticut Retail Tax Rate (applicable to orders billed to or shipped in Connecticut): 6.35%

Connecticut In-State Shipping Rate:

For orders of less than two-cases, $20. For two cases or more within Connecticut, FREE shipping via our Private Courier Service. (Be sure to choose In-CT Shipping option when checking out to qualify for this option.) We utilize the services of a private courier for the majority of our shipments destined to addresses in Connecticut. Pickups and deliveries occur once per week.

Out-of-State Shipping Rates:

We ship UPS and offer Next Day, Second Day, Three Day, and Ground Shipping services. Please allow 2-3 business days for order processing. Order processing time is independent of shipping service selected. (i.e.: Next Day Air indicates that the order will ship via Next Day Air, but continues to be subject to a handling period.) However, we are happy to expedite time-sensitive orders - just give us a call at 866-363-4404 or email us at info@maximumbev.com for fastest response.

For a quick quote, add the desired order to the shopping cart and enter your zip code, click "Update Basket." The drop-down menu will display the shipping options and rates available for your region.

At this time, we CAN ship wine to the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, South Carolina, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming.

If your state is not on this list, we regrettably are unable to ship wine to you as per your stateԳ liquor commission regulations on out-of-state shipments.

Product Availability:

While we endeavor to keep our listings as accurate as possible, we will contact all customers within 48 hours via email should a situation arise regarding a wine's availability or vintage. Please closely monitor your spam/junk mail folders as our correspondence has occasionally been filtered out by overzealous spam filters.

Shipping Options:

Maximum Beverage ships with UPS and average 3-5 days turnaround time for orders placed through our website. All packages are packed in certified recycled pulp wine shippers to ensure proper delivery.

Insurance

Maximum Beverage automatically adds insurance to each order placed online. It is important to immediately refuse any package from UPS which appears damaged, as this will expedite the claim handling process. Packages which are accepted for delivery and later found to be damaged may require further inspection from UPS. Please do not discard any packaging materials or order contents for damaged packages.

Signature Policy

You must be 21 years of age or older to purchase wine from Maximum Beverage. All packages sent out by Maximum Beverage REQUIRE an adult signature upon delivery. UPS will email a tracking number to you upon shipment and may place a UPS Voice Notification by telephone to inform you of the approaching package (residential addresses only). UPS will attempt delivery three times to the shipping address provided in the order. If you are not able to sign for the package at the original address, please contact UPS with the tracking number and they will redirect the package to a more convenient location, or make the package available for UPS "Will Call."

If UPS is unable to reach you (telephone, postcard, email) after several delivery attempts, the package will be returned to us as undeliverable. We will not be able to refund any shipping charges if your package comes back to us because there was no adult to sign for the wine and reshipment will result in duplicate shipping charges. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Returns

Maximum Beverage is committed to 110% customer satisfaction! If you find any errors regarding type of wine and vintage shipped to you, please call our order department (866-363-4404) or send an e-mail to orders@maximumbev.com. Returns made not due to error on the part of Dotcom Wine & Spirits, Inc., d/b/a Maximum Beverage are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Please re-pack the wine and send it to "Maximum Beverage, Attn: Internet Returns, 333 N Main Street, West Hartford, CT 06117 ". Please include a copy of the original sales receipt with the package.

**Title to, and ownership of, all wine passes from Dotcom Wine & Spirits, Inc., d/b/a Maximum Beverage ["Maximum Beverage"] to the purchaser in the State of Connecticut and the purchaser takes all responsibility for the shipping it from Connecticut to his/her home state. By arranging for transportation of the wine, Maximum Beverage is providing a service to, and acting on behalf of the purchaser. By utilizing this service from Maximum Beverage, the purchaser is representing that he/she is acting in a fashion compliant with his/her local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation and delivery of wine. The purchaser represents that he/she has obtained any required permission, paid any required fees, is working through properly licensed intermediaries where required, is legally entitled to take possession of wine and is legally entitled to take quantities ordered and once again authorizes that he/she is 21 years of age.
